United Church Of Christ Endorses Gay Marriage

How awesome is this!? Yet another church accepts homosexuality; Allowing even more people into the Family Of God! From the article:
The United Church of Christ became the first mainline Christian denomination to endorse gay marriage Monday when its 25th biennial General Synod decisively approved an "equal marriage rights for all" resolution.... ....The vote affirms equal marriage rights for couples regardless of gender and says that the government should not interfere with same-sex couples who want to marry. It calls on denomination officers to press local, state and national legislators to support equal marriage rights.
Personally, I think your sexuality isn't anything you can choose and is something you're naturally born with. After all, we are all created in God's image.
With this endorsement, homosexuals now have a place where they can marry and have God in their life. Jesus accepts(ed) anyone and everyone... and just 'cause you're gay doesn't mean he doesn't love you and want to help you. If a homosexual wants God in their life why the in the heck would you turn them away? If a homosexual couple wants to marry in the name of God and have Him guide them why turn them down?
Seriously, what's so wrong about the idea of homosexuality anyway? I mean you can't help who you love! People fear what they don't understand. I would say that 90% of the people who resent homosexuals don't just resent them but 'Hate' them... and it's all spawned from Prejudice.

People say that its nasty and disguesting... Well guess what guys!?... All sex, no what your gender preference, is nasty and distguesting and done out of lust and passion. Besides, what happens in ones bedroom is private and in no inkling of a way affects you.
People also say that they don't enjoy seeing gays/bis/lesbians showing any kind of affection towards eachother in public. Well I don't enjoy observing any couple, hetersexual or homsexual, freakin' making out and puting ther hands all over eachother in the middle of Target or wherever. I've got a good feeling about this... I congratulate the United Church Of Christ for this brave and probably difficult decision... but it was the right thing to do. Ya see this is a step to a more Godly, and less Prejudice, world in these chaotic time we all live in. Other Christian denominations that accept homosexuality (but not nessicarily endorse it or same sex marriages)

Could the reason that Christians not accepting homosexuals be that the Bible says that it is wrong? The Bible speaks against sodomy. (In case you are just plain dumb and didn't already know that)

and Romans 1:26-27. The Bible, The book that tells us what to do and what not to do says homosexuality is wrong.And you wonder why we all call you gay lol.

I guess I should just keep my comments to myself then, because you obviously are not seeing the truth in the matters. I would suggest reading a little more of a special book Chris gave you. You'll see the errors in some of your ideas in reading a few chapters...if you need help send me an email and I"ll point out specifically the chapters and verses as to why endorsing such a thing is not the right thing to do. You ever heard of love the sinner hate the sin....that's how most churches few things as well just thought I would point that out.
